“May 2023 Changes to COVID-19 Policy” letter sent to the Beloit community

Dear Beloit College Community,

For the last three years the COVID-19 Task Force, with consistent support from our college community, has diligently and carefully navigated the nuances of the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and safety of our on-campus members was, at all times, priority number one. We are so proud of what we have accomplished, where we have been and where we are now. With gratitude and cautious joy, we are ready to move forward with policy changes.

Effective May 15, 2023, we are making the following changes to Beloit College COVID-19 policies:

  • COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters will no longer be required for Beloit College staff, faculty, and students.
  • COVID-19 Testing will no longer be required.
  • Reporting of positive COVID-19 tests will no longer be required.
  • 面具戴是可选的。
  • TheCOVID-19 dashboardandBeloit COVID Plan pagewill be archived and no longer updated.

We continue to strongly recommend that everyone stay up-to-date with vaccinations, stay home if you’re sick, and follow all CDC guidelines.

As always, members of the COVID-19 Task Force and theHealth and Wellness Centerwill continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions, in the event we may need to adapt our response again in the future.

谢谢你的委员会tment to self care being community care. We will always know that Beloit College’s steadfast progress during the last few years was due to the dedicated people who live, learn, and work here.

Sincerely,
Members of the COVID-19 Task Force
