Representatives from major networks, both on-air and behind the camera, were at the event.

The event focused on career outcomes and strategies students could take to begin a career in the field of broadcasting, with industry professionals sharing their experiences, insights, and advice. After the initial presentation, the panelists answered questions from the audience, providing valuable guidance on how to break into the broadcast industry.

For Media Studies majors interested in pursuing a career in television, the TV Academy Career Day provided a unique opportunity to learn from experts in the field and to make valuable connections with industry insiders, says Jonathon Kelley, Visiting Assistant Professor of Media Studies and BeloitTV station manager.
