Elly Jaresko

Elly Jaresko (Jarvis) ’01has worked as an actress in Los Angeles’ entertainment industry for over 10 years. After acting in five main-stage productions, studying abroad in Zimbabwe, and graduatingcum laude(B.A. Psychology, minor Performing Arts), Jaresko received an Honor’s Term to create an original staged production fusing text, movement, music and art to address the diversity on Beloit’s campus. During that extended semester, Jaresko also had the privilege to perform in Chris Johnson’s invitedWreath of Memoriesat the US Holocaust Memorial Museum. Upon returning to Los Angeles, Jaresko secured great representation with a boutique talent agency (Circle Talent) and earned membership toSAG-AFTRA. She is a founding member of a multiple Ovation Award winning theatre company (NoHo ACE), have booked numerous national commercials, worked with renowned directors, worked on several independent films, pilots and an episode ofGrey’s Anatomy.

Jaresko remembers, “While my major was outside the Theatre and Dance department, I was welcomed there and my heart and soul relished spending many hours on their stages. This is a wonderfully unique structure to Beloit Education. My opportunity to act in leading roles at Beloit laid a firm foundation for entering the entertainment industry. Participating in KC/ACTF& ACDFA (now,联盟) was my first introduction to the required discipline to match the caliber of peers. With training at Beloit College’s Department of Theatre & Dance, I’m proud to share my path has brought me much success and personal satisfaction…and I’m looking forward to what the future holds!”
