麦克指标a Banks graduated from Beloit College in 2005 with a major in Dance, Acting and minor in Geology. Since graduating Mika has danced for companies in Quito, Ecuador; Chicago, Illinois; and performed for various choreographers at American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina.

During a break from dance Mika became a licensed massage therapist and through close work with her colleagues in the Physical Therapy, Chiropractic, Pilates and Eastern Medicine realms she developed and executed seminars in Injury Prevention and Recovery for Dancers and Injury Prevention and Recovery for Runners. These programs have thus far been taught at Beloit College along with varying athletic institutions in and around the Chicago-land area as well as San Francisco.

麦克指标a is currently living in San Francisco, California where she continues her work in Injury Prevention and Recovery, massage therapy, and dances for Palanza Dance as well as Rhythm and Motion. She teaches for Rhythm and Motion Dance Program©, a 35+yr San Francisco tradition of dance and conditioning classes based on the idea “Everyone can dance.” She is “Oh so thankful” to everything she gained from the Beloit College dance program and community, and could never have made it this far without them. THANKS!
